Be a good neighbor this week.

Do A Good connects you with local organizations that need a hand. Visit someone who lives alone. Bring groceries. Pack food for kids. Small things, close to home.

Need help yourself? Here's where to start.

How it works

Simple, on purpose

  1. Find something you can do

Local organizations post small, specific needs. Pick one that fits your week and your comfort level.

  2. Say yes

Sign up with a tap. The organization confirms you and shares what you need to know.

  3. Show up for a neighbor

Make the visit, drop off the groceries, give the ride. That's a good deed, done.

What you might do

Small asks that mean a lot

A few examples of the kind of help local organizations ask for. They're here to give you the idea, not live requests.

Some needs, like visits with seniors, are open only to volunteers who have passed a background check.

Our promises

Helping should feel safe for everyone

These are the ground rules from day one, for the people helping and the people being helped.

  • Every organization is verified

Needs come from senior centers, food pantries, shelters, churches, and schools that we have checked. Never from strangers.

  • Sensitive needs mean a background check

If a need involves seniors, kids, or anyone vulnerable, only background-checked volunteers can sign up for it.

  • Addresses stay private

While you browse, you see the neighborhood. The exact address is shared only after the organization confirms you.
